Another Year, Another Challenge!

August 31, 2007

As mom so succinctly summed up – another year just means a different challenge. This is so true! Though each challenge is what makes each age so much fun, there is always something new to adapt to! Whether, it’s the newborn age where they need to eat, poop and pee, or the one year age where they are a blur because they’re running away, or two when they do the exact opposite of what you want them to do!

Cierra is welcoming the age of five with open arms! And, moving arms, and legs and stories to tell! Fidgety is a great word to describe being five. You just have so much energy, that holding still makes your burst! Cierra danced, and jumped and turned in circles, and leaned – there was no slowing her down. Even her stories were fast paced, and full of details and excitement!

Though that doesn’t mean we weren’t able to capture some adorable images of the beautiful Cierra!

Curly Q!

What adorable curls Miss Charlsie has! I absolutely love the messy, there’s nothing you can do about it, look!

Number Four!

August 29, 2007

Maybe it’s because August is baby number four, and has three loud siblings at home, or maybe it’s because he was 8 lbs 12 ounces when he was born. Whatever it is, he is an amazingly laid back little man! Even when he got fussy it was a gentle sweet fussy!

How can you not just fall in love with that little round face and fantastic double chin!

Through the Tears!

August 28, 2007

It was a long car ride for mommy, as Hannah cried the entire way to the studio! Though she protested a bit after arriving, she was ready to perform for the camera! She definitely turned on the charm with those big blue eyes!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my Hubby!! Uh oh, he’s really entering his 30s now! The big 31!

Blue Eyed Cutie!

August 22, 2007

This blue eyed cutie was full of sweetness and smiles the morning of her session. She was turning on the charm and performing for the camera. Then Daddy broke out the singing and dancing Elmo…scared her to death! Not that I can blame her! Who wouldn’t be scared of a crazy, red, dancing fur ball?

Great Sport!

August 21, 2007

Many times during her session, I know Moe thought I was completely crazy, but she was a great sport! Whether I had her hanging upside down in a cowboy hat, or rolling in the grass, she was always smiling!

All Smiles!

August 20, 2007

What a sweetheart! Miss Mae was so relaxed and easy going the morning of her session. She smiled a lot, though her smiles were usually hidden. She has a tendency to look down when she’s about to crack a smile – an adorable shy smile, or she would hide her face behind her hands, and break out in a grin. Her grins always came through in her sparkling eyes!

Uncle & Aunt

August 18, 2007

Last week, Pete and I became Uncle and Aunt, when Pete’s sister had a baby boy! Meet Tyler, our nephew! Though a bit fussy during the first part of the session, he quickly fell asleep with a full belly, snug as a bug in a cozy bean bag chair!

I think he’s going to get some of his daddy’s height! Check out the size of his hands and feet! Maybe he’ll be the next big KU basketball player!
