Frisco

Another beautiful day in the mountains! The day started out with gorgeous blue skies and big puffy clouds.

There’s a paved bike path, that takes you to Frisco, about 8-10 miles away from Breckenridge. Pete, the dogs and I went to the local bike shop to rent two bikes and a pull behind cart. Yep, that’s right, the pups got to go bike riding with us! They sat in the cart while Pete pulled them. After figuring out how to safely strap them down, they just sat and enjoyed the breeze and the mountain views. Pebs did start to whine when Pete went too slow…it was actually pretty funny!

Again, we quickly discovered, the trip leaving Breckenridge was not a problem. The eight miles back to Breckenridge - not fun! It was completely uphill the entire time! There was no coasting, it was all pedaling. I think we must be cursed, because the rain came out again. Although it was hard work, we had an awesome time, but we were more than ready to put our feet up and relax for the rest of the afternoon.

Even Joey and Pebs crashed and burned…which is funny since they didn’t do any of the work!
