New Coat of Paint
As of September 1st, we have officially been living at The Ranch for five years! Where does the time go? It is by far the best move we have ever made. I absolutely love the solitude of the country, but very much appreciate that my Starbucks is just a quick 20 minutes away. The convenience of being able to walk out the front door for outdoor sessions is just perfect. Not to mention, our custom built in-studio space; all in all it is the perfect space for me.
We have come a long way in five years! All the baby trees we planted have really found roots and have started to take off. The fish in our water ponds have quadrupled in size. The flower gardens continue to mature…when not being eaten down to the roots by our local wildlife population.
Just as our plants grow and mature, and our fish have babies and multiply, there are other things that get weathered and worn.
First on our list is the house paint. The beautiful white color was no longer a bright white. It was more of a dirty grey. In certain places, the paint was starting to chip away and we were definitely seeing the wear and tear of the country winds and rains.
Michael and the team of Faith Painting, came to our rescue! Not only did they wash everything down and caulk all the trouble spots, but they gave our house the love and care it deserved, by hand painting every inch! None of that sloppy paint spraying. Every swipe of a roller and every brush of paint was done with intention and purpose. The final result, a beautiful, fresh white home! Thanks, Michael and team, you gave us our new home look back!

Michael is someone that you can trust to do the entire job RIGHT. His head and his heart are in the right place (not his hand always in your pocket!). We have known Michael for a long time and he has done painting for us and our other family and friends on many occasions with great results. And did I mention how FAST he is, too?!
